General Rules & Information

Awards

Medals will be awarded to solos, duets, trios and groups in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. All 1st place soloists will receive a trophy.
- GOLD - 1st Place Standing
- SILVER - 2nd Place Standing
- Bronze - 3rd Place Standing
All dancers aged 11yrs and under who do not place will receive a special dancer pin.

Director's Discretion

The competition directors reserve the right to combine or split categories as they see fit.
Any Dancer, parent, or teacher that approaches the adjudicators prior to the end of the competition may result in their entire studio being disqualified.

Age Requirement for Group Dances

Any group dance featuring a dancer aged 20 years or older must compete in the 19 and over category.

Time Limits

Registration

Individual registrations will not be accepted.
Dancers can not enter into a solo category twice.
All registrations must be submitted through Dance Comp Genie.
Registration is accepted on a first come basis while space is available. Please reserve your studio spot by contacting us anytime after June 1st, 2025
Any changes to registration after the change deadline or late additions may be subject to an additional $20.00 fee/entry.
No refunds will be issued for any reason.

Eligibility for Awards

To be eligible for the Top Performer and Top Performer Runner-Up awards, dancers must compete in multiple solos and multiple group dances.

Final Authority

The competition directors reserve the right to make the final decision on all matters associated with the competition.
The decision of the adjudicators are final.
Ivory Event Planning reserves the right to refuse to let a dancer perform.

Any complaints must be made in writing and emailed to theperformer@ivoryeventplanning.com

Losses and Injury

Ivory Event Planning is not responsible for any lost or stolen property.
Ivory Event Planning is not responsible for any injuries that may occur during the course of the competition.
